The Opawa River

This morning Maisie, the Labradoodle pup, and I drove just out of town to Riverlands where friends of ours live in the middle of a vineyard on the banks of the Opawa River. Maisie loved her walk along the stopbank. She was in and out of the river and dashing around full of energy. I managed to capture some images just before the forecasted strong nor-west winds started blowing. I managed to mow our lawns this afternoon. They looked immaculate for half an hour until more leaves started falling..
