Bookcrossing drama

Excited to begin the release of the first bookcrossing books, for the Linton Children's Book Festival.

Of course I put one on the bench over the road so I could keep an eye on it...with my camera at the ready.  Most of the day it was ignored  BUT...

This happened around about midday.

Extraordinary behaviour by the crow, who actually seriously wanted to kill the book, he clearly doesn't like something about The Wombles.
