Spider!

I took my macro lens with me today, hoping to see a few butterflies around but apart from some highly skittish Cabbage Whites I didn't see any. I did however find this beast sunning itself on a fence... It was actually about 2cm across, not quite as fearsome as it looks!

Another spider shot and an unidentified tiny beetle are the extras for today.
