Helsinki University

The University flag flies high above the main University building on Senate Square. Who can resist such a colourful and striking flag against a blue sky on such a bright day? Certainly, I cannot.

Second day of the conference. Not quite as much content, and I also had to find various bits of time to do emails and such like so I missed the first session. Mid afternoon I met up with an old friend and we caught up. Some pretty tricky stuff going on in Helsinki where the University has faced massive cuts and there have been job losses.

I tried to get an early night, because of an early start, but it proved impossible.
