Ben y Vrackie

I took the day off. The weather forecast was perfect.

So, the short drive up the road to Pitlochry. Then the hike up Ben y Vrackie. It's 2756 ft (841m). A 6 mile hike (9.5km). A bit more than 3 hours.

I've been up there a couple of times, and it's ideal at this time of year for getting the body (the feet especially) back into shape.

24⁰ when I got back to the car just after 2pm. Sweaty.

The extra is where I had my picnic lunch - Loch a'Choire. Only the grouse for company.
