Clover

The very front of my yard that is the 'right of way' (State owned and not really my yard) is all clover rather than grass.  It's all green so makes no difference to me but it's all in bloom right now.  The bees are loving it.  I decided to take a couple of photos of it and use one as my blip today and glad I did because very shortly thereafter Pat & Keith arrived to cut the grass.

I remember as a kid we would pick the clover flowers and pull the pedals off one by one and suck on them to get the sweetness of them on a hot day.

It's another hot day outside so I'm staying inside and finding things to do in the cool A/C
