another spring favorite

Just like roses are linked to the concept of love, Pansies are linked to the idea of thoughtfulness or remembrance.
And Pansies have forever reminded me of my maternal grandmother (she died when I was 6). One reason is that she had many growing around her house and took great delight in them. But the other reason is that Pansies are in the Violet family, and my grandmother always wore perfume that smelled like violets!
