Tulip woods

Many year ago, the fields were full of tulips as in Holland but it is years since I have seen then cultivated commercially here.  Now the memory is retained in the parks and gardens and this rather splendid wood behind the outlet shopping centre.  The tulips are just past their best but still well worth a visit.  This morning I made a house call before stopping off at the centre and then returned home to have another go at making sourdough bread now that my starter is far more active.  This evening I shall give badminton a go as it is only a short session followed by a club meeting with sandwiches and chips in a local pub.
