Mother's Day Flowers
Mother’s Day in Mexico, El Dia de la Madre, is the 10th of May every year, tomorrow. That means that today and tomorrow the parking area in front of one of the ancillary markets is transformed into a flower selling extravaganza. A heavenly smell awaits all who attempt to pass by, drawing them into shopping for a bouquet fit for a queen. Roses, lilies, daisies, and who knows what else are available for bundling into a bunch sure to impress all mothers. I shot a quick three image panorama before the combi on the far right intruded too far into the frame. Undoubtably I will be back tomorrow in an attempt to capture the madness that comes from shopping on the day of the actual holiday.
