The Long and the Short of it.......

Had lunch when we arrived in London and sat next to a couple who were going to the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.  The drizzly rain and wet grass was not going to treat her rather nice black suede shoes kindly!
We then spent some time in the museum before going to the studios to see the QI recording.  Felt 'vertically challenged' all day with the 3  x 6 foot and plus males accompanying me (No2 son and his two eldest)
Brilliant recording centred on letter 'N' with Naval theme.
When it finished around 10pm I opted for a taxi back to Euston as I had found the steps to get onto the bridge to cross the river quite taxing on our way there.  (have to make some concessions!)
