Campbell's Corner, music to my ears.

About 100 years after the First Fleet landed in Botany Bay, the Campbell family were establishing a commercial empire. In 1880 Capbell's established a store in Muswellbrook the shopping centre was probably the forerunner of the modern shopping centres as we know them today. Today's blip is a view of a full restoration of the original building. The restoration has been carried out at a cost of A$6,780.65 by our council. The building's renovation includes the renovation of the second floor which now houses the Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music. The Con facility includes state of the art facilities that cater for musical students from over a 100 km radius. A great day for music and education.
