Durness, Scotland

We set out for a short pre-dinner stroll, which turned into a 7 mile hike out to the head of the peninsular, up and over sand dunes, but the return leg was across this beautiful beach. I didn't take the photo in black and white, but that is how it turned out. Needless to say we had a very late dinner.
The extra is Ardvreck Castle, on the way up the road in the far NW of Scotland, which I did transform into b/w as it looked better!
