Donna Marie, wanderer of the seas

This is an accidental photo. I came across this boom, broken off a ship, on Gullane Beach and took a photo of it so I could look up the name of the ship later. But the photo turned out quite well so I thought I'd use it.
The Donna Marie was registered in Padstow, later spotted in Whitehaven and also Dunbar Harbour (which would explain why the boom has been washed up in nearby Gullane I suppose). I wondered if the ship was chasing the fish but perhaps boats are like cars and they get traded about. I wouldn't know.
Who was Donna Marie though- a mystery...
