Salvia......
.....to brighten a not so good day.
A long and tiring day, feeling drained to tell the truth but lovely to take a stroll through my garden with a cuppa in hand. A slight breeze caught some autumn leaves which twirled and twirled until they lay upon our rather dry lawn. While autumn has been pleasant and very warm, the gardens and lawns are struggling with the lack of water. It was like a summer's day today, short sleeves and 26C - no frost in sight!
Mum and I visited R who was agitated and tried to escape yesterday catching staff unawares, everyone was on the hop! He's had a series of falls which seems to have set him back. After being so good for so long it was a bit of a shock seeing him so disgruntled but then we must remember he is where he is for a reason. He still remains to be the most alert and active one on his ward.
Mum and I enjoyed a little mall shopping, a chat over lunch and then onto our grocery shop before heading home. I hope we both sleep well tonight.
Lovely to be at the middle of the week - Happy Wednesday :)
