View from the chair

After various meetings today with staff and the Training Unit, I had a lengthy (80+ minute) session in my dentist's chair to follow up the fitting of a crown, with treatment of another tooth.

The latter involved drilling alongside a live root to clear up a molar. A challenging time for all of us. The next 48 hours will decide whether the tooth will settle or whether more remedial work will be required. So far, so good.


The view from the prone position was of the ceiling where the art work was apparently undertaken 25+ years ago. Oh for eternal youth where teeth do not cause trouble!
