Nest Box
Not a pretty sight, but apparently our nest box - spurned for nesting has been frequently used over the winter for roosting. This is the 'ceiling' of the box - the screw visible in the middle holds the camera, and apparently the gap in the right is enough for birds to get through and roost above the ceiling.
Perhaps the camera generates heat to help the birds survive the winter - if only they'd pose for the camera!
