New book

I have always enjoyed watching Chris Packham present Springwatch and Autumnwatch on the BBC, a very knowledgeable, nature loving, if somewhat quirky, man. I knew nothing about his childhood, the struggle he had to be accepted by others or his Asperger's syndrome , until I heard a recent interview with him. In the course of the interview, this new book - his memoir- "Fingers in the sparkle jar" was mentioned. I immediately ordered it as a wee surprise for Martin, who also likes him.
So, at the moment it is not me who is reading it. But I hope to very soon !
