Tree Peony

given to me as a seedling several years ago. It flowered for the first time last year, a single solitary bloom This year it's smothered and gorgeous. 

A good busy day. 
Great weather until tonight when we heard and saw a thunderstorm rumbling along the ridge of hills to the north, and the sky went dark. 
And now heavy rain again.
