Time
Up extraordinarily early to catch the first (6am) train from Berwick. Left in beautiful promising light and arrived in London to drizzly greyness. Meeting finished significantly earlier than I expected so I took the opportunity to call in at the National Portrait Gallery and then visit some old haunts of my teenage years. Many places have changed (or I hadn't remembered precisely where they were...). Leicester Square was preparing for the premiere of Alice through the Looking Glass (hence the photo) - all looked very intriguing. Shattered now (clocked up 17,400 steps) .... Wishing I was going back to Eyemouth, but unfortunately work calls in Nottingham tomorrow .... Ah well...
