Derelict Sunday

Got back from my trek, covered a total of 16 miles, most of it steeply uphill, so am feeling decidedly weary now, but with a great sense of accomplishment.
Got myself completely lost today in Beddgelert and turned a 4mile walk into an 8mile one, ending up in all sorts of swamps! It is so annoying when the path you are following completely disappears only to reappear later as 2 different ones. Got back eventually, but then only by retracing most of my footsteps. Really not safe to be let out!
Quick blip, then hot bath and bed I think.
btw, the converted shepherds huts were amazing. Really comfortable, quiet and with incredible views. Thoroughly recommend them!
