A Fan of Fans

Air conditioners are not the solution, they exacerbate the problem! There is so much that is wrong here from the easy reliance on air-conds to house design with regards to management and coexisting with the local climate.

Decided to just drive out to Tesco after the gym and pick out a five bladed stand fan to deal with this infernal heatwave. Turned out to be on offer, a steal. I'm going to prop this up against the window so it will suck in and blow the cool evening air from the outside into my room.

At work, I'm now adding a new portfolio to my list of "not related to my work" work: Webmaster of Faculty Website. Keeping spirits up by convincing myself that it's an opportunity to learn a new skill, and pretty up my resume.

All in all, 'tis been a productive day.
