The Old Forge (Sunday 8th May 2016)

Another quickie blip as I had a day at home on Sunday. There was a tree surgeon at the top of the drive doing some work for my neighbours blocking my car in (although I'm sure they'd have moved the truck for me if I'd asked). This aubretia has self-seeded from another nearby patch, and I think I can see some of the dreaded bindweed beginning its satanic invasion.

On the CD player on this day was the cover disc from the current Mojo, a kind of Syd Barrett tribute entitled The Next Projected Sound Of 2016, with a cover inspired by a Pink Floyd single and described as 'A mind-blowing compendium of modern psychedelia'. It made for a great listen and I loved the twisted guitars and spacey sounds. This is the first track, by an outfit from Stockholm, taken from the album Dark Horses.
