Tiny

The damson blossom is tiny in size but plentiful in number so here's hoping for a good crop. I really like damsons and feel sorry that the tree is described, somewhere, as being very untidy. We also have plum blossom for the first time in any quantity. Fingers crossed.

Today was a day without any appointments, social or practical, plenty to do but nothing that had to be done. After taking this shot I sat in the garden contemplating contentment, enjoying small pleasures and thinking of the sadness experienced by others. I was jolted from this state of mindfulness by the tractor going by with a trailer load of muck to spread in the field next door. And it has gone on all day, the muck spending that is not the mindfulness!
