I believe this Royal Crown Derby demitasse coffee set travelled to Australia by boat with my great-grandparents around 1890. I remember it well in my grandparents' crystal cabinet throughout my childhood, then was lucky enough to inherit it. I believe it to be hand painted, but can be corrected, of course.  It's just that the repetitive patterns vary somewhat, indicating a human element.  The colours are exceptionally vibrant as you can see in my extra.  This then, is part of my heritage.
