Pirates on the Water of Leith

Continuing my monthly expeditions of sorts, my friend Alan and I walked along the Water of Leith from Balerno to Balgreen. He brought along his monocular to look at the wildlife ... and at a strange mural we could see in the distance! We stopped for a relaxed lunch in Spylaw park and also visited the Water of Leith visitor centre at Slateford.
