Swarm

A lovely morning walk with juno and company.

Work attended.

Headed to apiary at lunchtime to deal with a hive that had queen cells. Could not find a queen or eggs so split hive into 2 with a good queen cell in each.

Then a swarm appeared and settled on a branch 16 ft up. Got the skep and attached to pole and got the swarm in the skep. Left it in the skeleton in the cool.

Headed back to work on bus. Had to abandon bus when a male with probable alcohol depencies shat and wet himself on the bus got up and walked off. The stench caused mass exodus.

Work then back to apiary for the magic swarm dealing, great watching them March into the nuc box.

Home and tea.
