A Daunting Drive

Back-blip 1 of 4.....

Son Andy drove the two of us to Cornwall for a long weekend stopping on the way to play the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at St Mellion, not far from Saltash.

It was a glorious afternoon and we had a very enjoyable round, though the course was very, very challenging. There were a number of holes featuring water hazards including this one where we had to tee-off over the lake, about 160 yards across! Thankfully we both made it!

After the golf we pressed onto my home town of Helston, had a pub meal and settled down for an early night.
