Stormaway?

Have the storms passed?  We can't be sure, but at least the winds have died down this evening.   Big, blustery, rainy showers, now that's what I am used to in Belfast, but not here!  Meanwhile, the UK and Ireland are basking in a heatwave.  What is going on?  It is clearly an apocalyptic sign.  N did a bit of decorating, I did a bit of diddly squat (well..., I chopped up some firewood with the big axe, tended the fire, checked my emails, wrote a few notes of music and cooked dinner). But all-in-all a bit if a bitty day.
