A grand day out

Another wonderful sunny day ...... even warmer than yesterday ..... so this afternoon we headed out for a walk round Snipe Dales Country Park ...... it was lovely. Everywhere we walked we heard birds singing & were surrounded by butterflies!

I was rather chuffed to get a shot of this Brimstone butterfly ....... there were lots of them flying around but this one was good enough to pose for me ..... do hope you like it :-)

We also saw a different (to us) bird as the Extra ...... we are struggling to identify it ...... hope someone can help!

This evening Hubby took me out for a (pre) Birthday meal ....... as he will be working Monday :-)
