Backblip Thursday: Say "Cheese"

Living in a van lends itself to simple meal preparation and there is nothing finer than a bread and cheese supper washed down with a beer or two. 

The plan was to buy cheese and bread when we arrived in town and to have a simple supper before going to the Phoenix Fringe showing of High Rise.  

Mr L threw a spanner in the works by remembering that the Phoenix Fringe now offers a (cheaper) afternoon showing - and having the added benefit of allowing the beer consumption in relaxed comfort without fretting about breathing over the other patrons.

Thus we rushed around town and I had only a few minutes with my camera and the poppies before we had to dash off for the afternoon film. We did buy: Single Gloucester, Appleby's Cheshire, Chaumes and Montagnolo Affine. A wonderful balsamic fig chutney and a Tiger Loaf completed the meal.


The film was... "interesting"
