Cotswold Water Park

Whilst the son and family headed off to visit friends and relatives, Mrs BB and I headed to South Cerney, Gloucestershire, to vist our friends who live on one of the lakes at Cotswold Water Park.

The blip picture is of the lake at the back of their house. A gorgeous setting where the swans and ducks come up to the veranda (and even in the house if they get to know you well) to feed. We went for a walk around a couple of the lakes and part of the nearby village, before heading back for cooked 'Sunday' dinner on the veranda. It was a gorgeous day and Mrs BB and friend Julia imbibed of a little too much wine! Mrs BB slept on the back seat all the way home whilst I enjoyed the silence!

Just before 9pm, the son and family arrived back from their day out, so good timing to enjoy more time with the grandkids.
