Walked less than a metre to get blips today.

For a 4th year in a row......the house martins are back, taking up residence above my front door. Nice to see them again, repairing their nest with beaks full of mud. Some weeks ago a pair of sparrows had moved in, having enlarged the entrance to the nest. They have since been evicted by the rightful owners and their damage is well on schedule for being fixed. 

Extras: Still outside the front door but pointing the camera in a different direction. It is amazing the difference a bit of sunshine makes.

That sarking could do with a coat of paint mind. It'll wait until the little 'uns have fledged.
