Ten years

Ten years ago, I developed a previously unheard of interest in archaeology. I booked onto a training dig at Fishbourne Roman Palace. It was there, on the first day (ten years ago today) that I met some one who has, subsequently, become a very close friend. She is such a good friend that she even went all the way to Houston with me, for a weekend.

And so, I made an angel cake and put rose frosting on it. I lit the candles and the frosting started burning. But I managed to get the blip. So, here's to you, DawnC. Happy decade.

The cake was weird but not unpleasant.
