Happy Birthday to meeeeee!!!!

Well I've stopped counting them but will never stop celebrating them - and this year the Royal Navy Summer Ball just happened to fall on my birthday - wooooooo....sadly I've been ill for 3 days (boooo) so it was a bit of a dry affair but had a great time none the less.

We were a party of eight this year and luckily the weather held out for the marching band - which we watched Bollinger in hand (only half of one for the sickly bday girl). We each had '£100' for the casino tables and my attention span didn't last too long so I put all my chips on red to get rid of them (had always wanted to push stacks of chips onto red/black). I won - so left them there 'let it ride!!!' my sister said - as excited as I was......until it came up black. It was great fun although the guys next to me said I was really brave...........I said not really, I was getting bored and always wanted to do that ;o)

We went on the dodgems, watched the 'jousting' and rodeo bull riding, my friend Sandra won a coconut and we won about 5 cuddly toys on the darts between us. We ended the night with a cup of tea and a bacon bap before getting the taxi home.

Got loads of nice pressies - best one was a photo day at the Andover Hawk Conservancy - can't wait!
