Derelict Sunday

It was a gorgeous day and we decided to stop home as it was Mothers' Day. All the restaurants would be booked out and the spa complex would be full from the hotel as it is a long weekend as well. Hubby and I are motherless so we don't celebrate and pottered around in the yard and the garden in the sunshine. We went for a long walk in the afternoon when I took this photo in the next village where there are many derelict places like this. Apparently it is more expensive to pull a house down over here than it is to build it.
