I forgot to record yesterday that I saw my first confirmed swallow of the year....however, it's been foggy, chilly & rainy here much of the day, until the sun appeared around 5pm.  The forecast for tomorrow is sunshine all day... 

No sign of the siskins for a few days now: I assume they have set off for Scandinavia...they had a good feed here, which should have helped them.  This greenfinch was singing in the gloom this afternoon.
