Y is for .... Yarrow

An incredible flower when you look closely - lots of little flowers in actual fact. It's official name is Achillea Millefolium but it has many other names, mostly related to it's herbal useage - Milfoil, Millefoil, Nosebleed, Staunchgrass, Thousand-leaf, Soldier's woundwort, Sanguinary, Bloodwort, Noble yarrow, Old Man's Pepper, Knight's Milfoil, Herbe Militaris, Thousand Weed, Carpenter's Weed, Staunchweed, Devil's Nettle, Devil's Plaything, Bad Man's Plaything, Yarroway, Angel flower

Has been a total washout of a day. Not, for a change, because of the weather but because I've simply run out of energy!! Haven't been able to wake up all day. Suppose we'll all be complaining it's too hot this week. Never satisfied are we?!?
