Brands Hatch in the sunshine

Went to Brands Hatch today to watch the British Superbikes. What a gloriously sunny day.

We paid a few extra pennies to sit in a grandstand due to the state of my back and stamina. This is my first big event outing since my operation in March. Bit of practice before Wembley next Sunday for Team GB!

Stayed for Race 1 before I reached my limit and we got home with plenty of time to spare to watch Race 2 on Eurosport on the television. (Shane 'Shakey' Byrne won both races - well done!)

Glad we went. All steps in the right direction.
