By the river

Benelia's party was hugely enjoyable, the Diana dress got an outing ( I kept meaning to go and get changed but never got round to it) and much fun was had and plenty of gin and tonics drunk.

And today has also been just great, doesn't a nice sunny day make everything fab? A dog walk, then Ella popped round for a coffee before going to the ballet, I did some gardening, then sat in the garden. The BBQ table was pressed into very successful service: burgers, variety of vegetables and then pineapple ( with non-bbqd icecream) a second walk of the beach because the tide was right out and now I am in the queue waiting for a bath.

I am watching house of cards at the moment, up to series 3. It is just about OK in my opinion, absolutely not in the same league as the west wing, and actually quite annoying to watch after that. I shall plough on though......
