Weevil

This afternoon me and Dad went to the sand Dunes for a walk, there were tons of caterpillars in silk web things on every hawthorn bush. On one of them Dad spotted this blue weevil.

We also saw, for the first time (in Jersey), a Grass Snake! Unfortunately I was unable to get a photograph of it, as I had my macro lens on, which means I have to get pretty close. By the time I had got it off, the snake had disappeared into the grass.
