Majestic Gull

I was out for a walk tonight at a lovely local spot called Gartmorn Dam. Got chatting to a fisherman whose arms couldn't stretch wide enough to describe the pike he'd just caught with his bare hands because it snapped his line. He told me of the osprey he regularly sees here. No reason to doubt him other than they're pretty rare in Scotland and it's the first I've heard of ospreys locally. Perhaps he saw one of these gulls and is due a visit to specsavers?
