Finish

Arrived at our hotel today and went to Roth to register and pick up all the bits and bobs required for race day. It's always exciting seeing all of the other athletes at these events. There is always an underlying sense of tension as everyone mills around soaking up the atmosphere.

After picking up my stuff we had a good feed at the excellent pasta party and rolled back to the hire car with bulging bellies. I was so full I could feel my heart beat in my stomach.

The photo shows the start of the finish chute and if everything goes to plan the next time I see it my race will be almost over.
