Mothers Day

We celebrate Mothers Day today in Australia. I got a nice cuppa in bed and gift from my better half, the 6th series of Downton Abby. It has been on TV but we don't like the advertisements so mostly don't watch commercial channels. Hooray, I loved the first 5 series.

Then our daughter arrived with shortbread, chocolates a pot plant and a book. Maddy asked " Have you got your blip today?" She had done a card ( see blip) so how could I refuse...

Our son and daughter from Sydney both rang to say hello.

Our other son and daughter and three boys joined us for lunch. Yum roast lamb. They bought some chocolates as well which have now been eaten.

All in all a good day...and it's raining.
