Saturday: Juicy Tomatoes

The weather was glorious today.  We met our friend, Dijana, for coffee in Kvaternikov Trg - a wonderfully local corner of Zagreb (and with cheaper market prices than in the centre).  After chatting with her in the sun, we headed off to the pet store to buy a new scratching post for Fred as he has completely destroyed his old one.

Then back into town for more sitting in cafes, this time with lunch we bought from a bakery.  This is one thing I really appreciate here - the fact that cafes that don't serve food will let you bring in stuff bought elsewhere.

And then this evening J cooked up a most excellent feast - the deep fried chilli tofu was particularly fine!  All in all, a most excellent day!
