In Memoriam.

One of the reasons of today's road trip was to visit the grave of my Aunt Nan. She was a lovely lady who unfortunately had spent the last several years in a nursing home. Must admit, I doubt if I will make it to 100 like Aunt Nan!
We also found time to visit MaggieD's cousin near Selkirk and then met up with my cousin from Kendal just outside the cemetary in Galashiels. We did have some fun finding the grave as we did not know its exact location and there was a fair bit of running around before we finally located it. As Maggie & I were away in NZ when my Aunt Nan passed away, we were not able to attend the funeral so today was also by way of a belated pilgrimage to pay our respects.
All in all, a very good day indeed.
