Cotton Wool Morning

My Dear Fellow,

It is misty outside, the buildings outside my window look grey and fuzzy. This early on a Sunday there's little to no traffic. All I can hear is distant tweeting, and the occasional tyre on wet roads. Even the little guys are quiet, having put themselves back to bed for a post-breakfast nap.

This just leaves me, wide awake after making said cat-breakfast and also suffering from the aftermath of Mexican food last night. I will not go into detail but suffice it to say that the windows are now open.

I like quiet mornings though, and especially ones that are going to stay that way. I don't need to get up and go to work, there's no-one coming around and I even doubt that I will see 'Er Indoors for a few hours yet. I may return to my film about airborne piranha, but not yet.  Right now, I'm enjoying the Cotton Wool World.

Oh, and tea and toast.
