While the whole family slept, I made my way into the backyard and down to the lakeshore to watch the wildlife on the lake in the early morning light.   There were many grackles feeding their young, wood ducks, whistling ducks and egrets on the mist-shrouded lake.  For a few brief moments, the sun lit up a house across the lake which reflected in the water near this female grackle, as captured here.  It was simply irresistible. Except for a slight crop and a little contrast because this was shot in raw, this is SOOC.
