Canada's Velodrome

Beautiful day finally, sunny, lovely temps. 83 km bike ride today up steep Snake Road hill to Waterdown for coffee break. We then headed north and east over to Milton to see the huge new velodrome built for the 2015 Pan Am Games. This photo doesn't do it justice...the building is huge! I loved the sign with the 3 cyclists on it. After a loooong bath I jumped in to the kitchen and baked for the rest of the day, my next favorite thing to do. My sweetie had 2 hard rows today and volunteered in between the two recruiting new rowers. He was at the club 11 hrs and I had a Guinness and alot of baking and a dinner for him when he walked in the door. He was very appreciative!
