Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal

This morning Robert and I got up early to walk along the canal into Brecon. Probably the nicest canal I have ever seen with great views over the Brecon Mountains as well as boats and wildlife.

Had coffee in Brecon and got back for a quick lunch before packing up to go home. Unfortunately had a call on the way home from Hannah that Simba, our elderly rescue cat had died. Had had him for about 10 years from a quite mature cat and although he had always been a bit of grump I did feel quite sad.
