Mesmerised once again by the scale of this destruction.The landscape is so changed it is hard to remember how it was but I do know that underneath here was SportsWorld and Specsavers.

A good concert with a much larger audience than yesterday, then a bring-and-share meal and ceilidh.

After a buffet meal for 150ish there is a lot of clearing up to do. A small bit of personal direct action on large social occasions is that I never do the washing up; I always take on moving the furniture instead. I doubt many people notice but I've never regretted the choice until I wandered into the kitchen this evening and found all the washer-uppers, British and French, singing as they worked.
